Outreach Coordinator – Quantum Research Park (QuRP), IISc Bengaluru
Quantum Research Park (QuRP), funded by the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Government of Karnataka, is inviting applications for the position of Outreach Coordinator within the IQTI ecosystem at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
This is a full-time, contractual position for professionals passionate about quantum technologies, science communication, outreach, event management, and stakeholder engagement. The selected candidate will support outreach initiatives across the Wadhwani-IISc Innovation Centre for Quantum Technologies and Quantum Research Park.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute outreach programs for quantum technology initiatives.
Coordinate scientific events, workshops, conferences, and public engagement activities.
Develop communication materials including:
Posters
Brochures
Presentations
Reports
Infographics
Newsletters
Manage website content and social media communication.
Build collaborations with academia, industry, government organizations, and research institutes.
Coordinate institutional communications and digital campaigns.
Manage registrations, logistics, documentation, and participant feedback.
Analyze outreach metrics and prepare reports.
Eligibility
Applicants should have:
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Communications, Management, or a related discipline.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience in outreach, event management, or science communication.
Familiarity with tools such as:
Canva
PowerPoint
WordPress
Digital communication platforms
Preferred
Knowledge or experience in Quantum Technologies.
Salary
₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month
(Salary depends on qualifications and experience.)
